THE HOPELESS BANALITY OF THE BLOGOSPHERE

Good Lord, Rick! Do you NOT realize at the very least this guy's views are sypathetic to radical Islamists? The fact is the more that comes out proves the point. Do you not think that a member of the army showing up at a 7-11 or Circle K in full Islamic garb the DAY he commits the act is just a wee bit of something to the fact that while he may have not been connected to al-Queda, he sure as hell thought that they were A-OK. Also, where was the "let's sort it out" when the late-term abortion dr was killed in Kansas earlier this year? Or when there was the Oklahoma City bombing? Only now because of fear do we not call terror-Islamofacsist terror-by its name.

THE LEFT IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT JOE WILSON

HILARIOUS! It is amazing that all it takes to rile up the Obamatrons and the Obamawhore media is someone who dares to speak, oh I can not believe I am writing this, speaks truth to power. Funny, it was OK for these people harass former President Bush relentlessly for eight years. But, do we expect anything less from the left?

HOLY CHRIST! WHERE HAS JOE KLEIN BEEN THE LAST 8 YEARS?

SPOT ON, RICK! I remember election night, 2000, and the awful eight years that followed with the Democrats and the hard left doing EVERYTHING to make George W. Bush "illegitimate". EVERYONE even a slight liberal or Dem got in the act. Hell, this went all the way back to Richard Nixon. Now, Mr. Nixon was not my favorite Republican. He nearly destroyed the Republican party. But, the scorched earth politics of the left started then and were perfected under George W. Bush. How else could someone so far to the left as President Obama be elected? Pass him off as a moderate and keep the Jones, Wrights, Ayres, et al, in the background. But for these jokers like Joe Klein writing such mealie pap is, mindless. Kind of like a lot of what is going on these days under President Obama!

JUST LIKE THE BIRTHERS ONLY WORSE: LIBERAL CONSPIRACIES ABOUT HEALTH CARE REFORM

Rick, great post. BUT, remember who perpetuated this whole birther crap in the first place. It was TEAM HILARY! Remember the photo with Mr. Obama in the turban? Who released that? TEAM HILARY! Anyhow, the left has no self-awareness. Otherwise they would realize that this is not a good road to go down. And yes, I am embaressed that Ma'am Barbara Boxer is MY senator. I hope we can change that next year. That is CHANGE I BELIEVE IN!

IT'S PAST TIME TO INOCULATE CONSERVATISM AGAINST THE BIRTHERS

I agree that the so-called "birther" movement is potentially dangerous. But, just as the "truther" movement, it makes NO SENSE. Really, 47 years ago, a man named Barack H. Obama, Sr. entered with a cabal that would make his son president of the United States some day. Only problem. Jr. was not really born in the United States. So these conspirators came up with "faking" a birth certificate that showed Jr. was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Unsually, a good conspiracy theory makes a modicum of sense. This just does not. I also agree that all of this talk is to discredit President Obama. Hey, I think his POLICIES are doing that job all on their own, thank you.

C'MON, AMERICA! SNAP OUT OF IT!

On this, my friend, I agree. There is so much to be happy about. And, here is a thought. We should not put our trust in politicians to cure our ails. We have the ability to do a lot on our own. This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! What always makes me the most happy is my family and friends and my faith, not in any particular order. Everything else is secondary. Happy 4th!

OBAMA FAILS TO STAND UP FOR AMERICAN INTERESTS IN HONDURAS

BRAVO! Rick, you hit the nail on the head on this! Imagine if Al Gore ignored the supreme court and showed up on inaguration day and tried to become president in 2000? Or if the city of New Haven chose to ignore the supreme court ruling handed down today? The armed forces had to act. This Zelaya was trying to change the constitution to benefit HIMSELF! Just like President Piggy has done in Venezuela. This makes former president Carter look like a right-winger. President Obama should be ashamed of himself!

CAN GINGRICH RIDE AN ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT WAVE TO THE OVAL OFFICE?

R.S. McCain has it right! It is the elites vs. grassroots. Look at what is happening. Here in California, the elites gave us Gov. Benedict Arnold, by the way of a recall. Now, they are telling us that Gov. Christ is the ONLY one that can win the Florida senate seat. And I do not need to write about backing Sens. Jeffords, Lincoln Chaffee and now Arlen Specter. I like to remind people that the elites were totally against one Ronald Reagan.

REPORT FROM THE FRONT: PRAGMATISTS HAVE NO SOUL

Rick, here is a test for you.
Defend Gov. Benedict Arnold.
Is he your idea of a moderate conservative? Is he someone that you want to be the new face of the Republican party?
While you are helping me along with that, I will surprise you on this.
I do not think that Charlie Christ is all that bad. I think that he is a moderate conservative. His problem is that he is always looking for the next level to climb. Thus it is kind of hard to figure him out.
BTW, I oppose the NRSC interfering in the Florida race. If Marco Rubio should win, then the NRSC should go all out for victory.
I leave you with this.
If you were in California would you vote for or against the six tax and robbery measures on tomorrow's ballot?

CAGE MATCH: CRIST vs. RUBIO

One point is that it is a classic battle between an old, white moderate and an up-and-coming Hispanic conservative. I wonder how nasty it will get and that if Gov. Christ should pull off the primary, will he do it so ugly to turn off the Hispanic voters of Florida? I am pulling for Mr. Rubio as he is a fresh face, Hispanic and solidly conservative. Mr. Rubio is the future and Gov. Christ is the past.
